This comment relates to a set of three submissions presented in respect of different parts of London.

In south London, the submission reduces the number of cross-borough seats to six, compared with eight in the BCE scheme. It also allows Lambeth to be treated separately for three seats, instead of crossing the borough’s boundaries with both Croydon and Southwark as the BCE proposes.

The submission covers the whole of London south of the Thames except for the boroughs of Sutton and Wandsworth, where the BCE’s proposals are supported.

The other two submissions, one covering northern and western parts of London and the other the boroughs of Newham and Tower Hamlets, are presented separately.
